William discovers that Lucian, one of his students at Durham University, has been missing for three days. The situation worsens when the waitress Lucian claimed to love tragically jumps off a bridge and dies. Despite an administrator at the university reassuring William that there’s no cause for concern, he feels differently and decides to delve into Lucian's recent activities to uncover the truth.
