The expedition to the Earth's core progresses as the team navigates a precarious lava bridge, which collapses, allowing Pompilio to seize Diego's device. Meanwhile, Martin's attempt to sabotage the Calderon's ultrasonic driller is thwarted when he is caught. In a twist, Diego and his companions rescue Pompilio, who suffers an electric shock from the tungsten. Ultimately, the group arrives at the Earth's center, where they work to mend its fissure and restore stability.
