Intervention (2005)
S4E4 Brooke
At 26, Brooke relies on prescription painkillers to manage her early-onset rheumatoid arthritis. Unfortunately, she has developed an addiction to these medications, many of which are opiates known for their high potential for dependency. Despite her growing reliance on the pills, Brooke remains in denial about her addiction. Her family, concerned for her well-being, believes that an intervention might help her acknowledge the severity of her situation and encourage her to seek the help she desperately needs.
