A couple dedicated to rescuing stray animals arrives with Jersey, a three-legged cat who has recently lost mobility in her remaining hind leg. The veterinarian faces the challenging decision of whether to perform the first hip replacement ever on a three-legged cat. In addition, a Great Dane receives a specially designed spinal implant, while a Dogue de Bordeaux is treated for elbow dysplasia.
