Takamura Ippo is reminded that champions possess extraordinary abilities before his title defense. However, after struggling with weight issues and an exhausting sauna session, he finds himself in a precarious situation against his challenger, Tamaki. Despite his struggles, he manages to survive the first round as the bell rings. As the second round starts, Takamura is clearly at a disadvantage, grappling with fatigue and struggling to keep up with Tamaki's relentless attacks, leaving him breathless and on the ropes.
