Monica feels disheartened after not passing one of her assignments, but Tess encourages her to stay positive, reminding her that help is on the way. Meanwhile, after losing his factory job in North Carolina, Russell Greene gathers his wife, two kids, and mother to move to her hometown of Chicory Creek, Kentucky. There, an old friend, Doc Rogers, has assured Russell he'll have a job waiting for him.
