Businessman Brian Taylor becomes a suspect in a murder investigation when a beautiful woman is discovered dead. Paul Dangerfield, who is handling the case, must navigate the delicate balance of his friendship with Brian while maintaining his professionalism. Later, Dangerfield is asked to verify the death of a young woman who drowned. As it turns out, she was a colleague of Brian’s, raising suspicions from the police and Brian's wife, Barbara, about the nature of their relationship.
