Don and Agent Weston from the NTSB look into reports of a strange unidentified object soaring perilously close to downtown Los Angeles, sparking fears of a potential terrorist threat. When Charlie is brought in to assist with the inquiry, they uncover that the object is linked to groundbreaking technology that could transform air travel. However, the case takes a dark twist when they discover that the chief engineer behind the project has been found dead.
