The Schwedhelm family has been trapped in a year-long home nightmare. After discovering a leak in their roof, they hired a contractor for repairs. Unfortunately, just weeks after the work was done, severe Florida storms hit Tampa, revealing that their new roof was failing even worse than before, and the contractor vanished. Water flooded their home, leading to extensive damage and mold growth. With Steve frequently away for military duties, Deb faced this crisis alone. Fortunately, disaster experts Ed, Enzo, Joe, and designer Kari stepped in to provide a new roof, eliminate the mold, repair the damage, and revamp their mid-century modern home.
