Texas is grappling with one of its most severe droughts in years, impacting both the environment and local homes. Jason and his wife, Stacy, recently purchased Jason's childhood house in Burleson, unaware of the lurking issues. The extreme heat has caused the soil beneath their home to shift, resulting in large cracks in the master bedroom and bathroom, creating hazardous conditions and allowing snakes and scorpions to enter. At a loss for solutions, the Smiths call in the Catastrophe Inc. team—Joe Charboneau, Ed Ranieri, Enzo Maddalena, and Kari Openshaw. They arrive in Texas to lift the house, stabilize the foundation, and seal the cracks, while also installing an advanced irrigation system to prevent future problems. Ultimately, Jason's beloved home is restored, providing the newlyweds with a safe and beautiful living space.
