After saving Waldo from a desperate situation, Hoss takes him on as a ranch hand. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Waldo is not cut out for the job, as his clumsiness leads to a series of troubles for the entire crew. Despite Hoss's willingness to stand up for him, he soon uncovers a hidden truth about Waldo that complicates matters even further.
