On Halloween night, Pete is eager to frighten his friends as he does each year, but they are resolute in stopping him this time. The group had previously decided to explore the town's most haunted spots, yet Sally expresses her reluctance to confront her fears. After some discussion, they all commit to facing their anxieties together, ultimately discovering that the eerie locations are less terrifying than the fears they conjure in their minds.
