As a fierce hurricane devastates Florida, Mac and Templeton rush to the area to assess the destruction. While on the ground, Mac discovers a critical emergency involving an oil tanker near the coast that poses a serious threat. Back home, Rod is contemplating a tempting proposal to take on the role of Commissioner of Baseball, weighing the implications of such a significant career move.
