The author, actor, and comedian sets off on an adventure through the Central American isthmus, making his way to the Panamanian border from Mexico. Traveling in his bright yellow American school bus, Stephen immerses himself in various experiences, including acting in a soap opera in Mexico City. He then journeys to the Pacific coast, where he is captivated by the enchanting migration of the Monarch butterfly and the bravery of cliff divers in Acapulco.
