Tom is livid when he discovers that George has conned him out of $15,000, which was meant for a house down payment. In a panic, George reaches out to Jimmy for assistance in recovering the stolen funds. Jimmy convinces both George and Tom to fly to Los Angeles, where Lloyd and Allan have escaped. Once they arrive, they encounter Jimmy's clever cousin, who has a strategic plan to reclaim Tom's money. Meanwhile, Florence, aware of George and Tom's scheme, informs Louise and Helen, prompting them to hurry to Los Angeles as well.
