Jay and Sherry are hoping to keep their older son at home, making the basement suite an ideal solution. However, the home's layout presents significant challenges, with a cramped kitchen and lack of privacy in the bedrooms. Unsure of how to proceed, they turn to designer Hilary and realtor David for assistance. Hilary and her team will transform the house to better suit their needs, while David explores potential new homes that could entice the family to move.
