Michael makes his way from Transdniester, an unrecognized region of Moldova, to the Vaser Valley in Romania. There, he meets up with 80 lumberjacks as they prepare to board a steam train powered by wood. His journey culminates at Bran Castle in Transylvania, famously known as the ancestral residence of Vlad the Impaler and the rumored inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
