Finch struggles to accept the reality of his divorce while Nina's journalist acquaintance sees the potential for a sensational news feature. Elliott brings his lumberjack buddy to meet Maya but feels a pang of jealousy as they connect instantly. In a moment of passion, Maya and Elliott share a kiss. This marks the first half of a two-part story.
