Maya’s colleagues are perplexed when she starts a romance with Steven, the host of a children’s puppet show. Despite their confusion, Maya feels her relationship is thriving—until she starts to suspect that Steven's puppet characters are subtly mocking her. Concurrently, Nina ventures into entrepreneurship with a dubious investment in a nameless nightclub. Additionally, Elliott's candid revelation during an emotional viewing of Brian's Song—his occasional wish to be a woman—unexpectedly resurfaces, complicating his friendships and self-identity.
