Monkey (1978)

S2E11 Who Am I?

The pilgrims consume some freshly gathered mushrooms and suddenly find themselves with blank memories. Meanwhile, Monkey strays from the group and falls in with a gang of outlaws, who mistake him for the Fungus Prince, a royal banished by King Seven Souls. The king has a vendetta against Tripitaka and enlists the outlaws to capture him for a reward. Tripitaka, unaware of the danger, separates from Pigsy and Sandy and is soon taken prisoner by Monkey and the outlaws. Yu-Lung embarks on a mission to help Monkey regain his memories to rescue Tripitaka.
