A rumor spreads around Walmington-on-Sea that Wilson is involved with a young woman. He goes missing for a while, only to be discovered inebriated. To everyone's surprise, the girl in question is actually his daughter. Meanwhile, Walker has received a shipment of pigeons that were pilfered from Trafalgar Square and needs to find a safe place to stash them. As the platoon gathers for their church parade, the potential for chaos looms large.
