Tensions rise between Pembleton and Gee as they delve into a controversial case of police brutality, which complicates matters when one suspect turns out to be Kay's former partner. Meanwhile, Bolander encounters a waitress who inspires him to pick up his cello again. Munch attempts to impress his girlfriend with a new fish for her aquarium, but she isn't thrilled by the gesture. In the interrogation room, Frank manages to extract the confession that Gee desperately seeks, but sadly, the individual is innocent of the crime in question.
