When Karen starts experiencing seizures, Aaron learns that she has terminal cancer due to multiple brain metastases from melanoma. Meanwhile, Jeffrey feels conflicted about operating on a mobster who is set to enter witness protection. In an effort to prank Jeffrey, the residents inadvertently end up offering solace to Karen in her final moments.
