When Much sustains injuries from a pit trap, the outlaws rush to the obscure village of Cromm Cruac for assistance, a name previously unknown to them. Upon arrival, they quickly sense that something is amiss as peculiar sights and strange behavior among the villagers unfold. Robin finds himself facing Gulnar, a sorcerer with ties to Owen of Clun, as he grapples with the unsettling atmosphere and the mysterious happenings in this enigmatic settlement.
