Julia approaches Caronte, seeking his help to defend Miguel, a fellow teacher accused of killing Alicia, a student with whom he had a romantic involvement. Despite Guillermo, Alicia's friend, vehemently believing in Miguel's guilt and challenging Julia about her stance, Caronte chooses to take on the case. As he investigates, Caronte uncovers incriminating evidence against Commissioner Paniagua.
