Reed believes he’s scored an excellent bargain on a secondhand boat, but Malloy suspects that there's more to the story. As they patrol the area, they look for a man who sold a stolen horse to a riding school. They also follow up on a tip from an informant, checking out a questionable parking lot attendant at a restaurant. Meanwhile, they confront allegations of having stolen a diamond ring from a socialite amid a burglary case.
