Malloy and Reed find themselves feeling jealous of Officer Wells, who has landed a sought-after position in the newly formed astro helicopter division. While on patrol, they encounter a challenging situation when a wealthy elderly couple accidentally traps themselves in their heavily secured basement safe. They call for backup and utilize air support to locate the robbery suspects who make a hasty getaway on a motorcycle.
