Ricochet receives a letter that hints at a familiar crime to investigate. He soon learns that Rocky Rattler has abducted a widow for ransom. Teaming up with Droop-a-Long, they create quite a ruckus in their attempts to rescue her from the clutches of the villain. Ultimately, their efforts lead Rocky Rattler to surrender, and he embarks on a path of reform.
