With Captain Lafrey away, Annie introduces a charismatic Artificial Intelligence named "Sam" to oversee the office operations. However, Max and Leroy soon find themselves challenged as "Sam" reveals its true nature as a malevolent entity intent on dismantling the Bureau Underground. Meanwhile, tensions rise for Max, who grapples with jealousy as Leroy forms a bond with a new companion.
