S1E1 Pride Before a Fall

On October 5, 1973, the first day of Yom Kippur, the leaders at a secret Israeli military base ignore the urgent alerts from Avinoam, a young intelligence analyst who believes war is imminent. Meanwhile, Alush and Marco, two soldiers from the 87th tank crew, plead with their commander to help their friend Melakhi, a social justice activist who has been arrested in Jerusalem for political dissent. As the Syrian army launches its assault and air raid sirens wail, Meni, a journalist and TV host, comes to the shocking realization that his estranged son, recently enlisted, is on his way to the frontlines.
