During a thank-you dinner with the Woodcocks and the Starks, Joy expresses her desire for more romance from Eddie, questioning why she hasn't yet received the engagement ring he promised her. With some assistance from Jeff, Eddie presents Joy with a ring, which she hesitantly takes but eventually learns to cherish in her own unique way.
