S1E4 Staged Photography
Throughout much of the 20th century, photography primarily focused on realism. However, starting in the 1960s, "staged photography" emerged as a significant trend, shedding its previous label of being simplistic or outdated. This revival was greatly influenced by elements from film, theater, performance, and sculpture. As a result, this new wave of photography, enhanced by other artistic forms, embraced the complexities and ambiguities of photographic realism.
