Alan Shore and Brad Chase defend Kelly Nolan, accused of poisoning her husband. Concurrently, Tara Wilson supports Shirley Schmidt and is taken aback to discover that the rival attorney is her ex-lover, Malcolm Holmes. Meanwhile, Garrett Wells and Sara Holt work alongside Denise Bauer on a sensitive case involving a Jewish man who feels uncomfortable with his Christian colleagues conducting Bible studies at work. To complicate matters, Denise receives divorce papers, adding pressure to her already challenging situation.
