When Pete declines to rig a street race, he finds himself in hot water as the gang in charge threatens his safety. Desperate, he turns to Clark for help, asking him to intervene using his abilities. Angered by Pete's reckless choice, Clark faces the challenge of rescuing his friend while keeping his own powers under wraps. Simultaneously, Jonathan starts to experience the fallout from his agreement with Jor-El, leading to unexpected complications.
