Blair's cousin, Geri, comes to visit, and Mrs. Garrett suspects that Blair is embarrassed by Geri’s cerebral palsy due to her behavior. As the visit progresses, Mrs. Garrett comes to understand that Blair's true feelings are rooted in jealousy, as Geri is not only confident but also a successful comedienne.
