Dr. Lu Delgado faces a financial crisis at her free clinic. Seeking help, she approaches the esteemed Rittenhouse Hospital, where renowned O.B.G.Y.N. Dr. Dana Stowe accuses Lu of sabotaging her breast cancer research after Lu expresses her views on clinical trials. Later, Chief of Staff Dr. Bob Jackson invites Dana to visit Lu’s clinic to evaluate potential funding. Meanwhile, Dana delivers heartbreaking news to a patient about her ovarian cancer diagnosis, which will prevent her from having children. Ultimately, Dr. Lydia Emerson proposes an ideal solution to help Lu's clinic thrive.
