Lynn finds herself in a fierce legal battle against her former colleague, the ruthless attorney Joe Celano, over a case concerning a child's adoptive parents and the Guatemalan mother from whom he was separated. Meanwhile, Danni's unexpected response to Lynn's proposal for collaboration leaves Lynn feeling unsettled and questioning her decisions.
