A young boy with a passion for chemistry teams up with the Lone Ranger and Tonto to outsmart a group of outlaws. The criminals have taken a map from a surveyor that reveals the planned route for the railroad. With the boy’s scientific expertise, they devise a clever plan to retrieve the stolen map and thwart the outlaws' scheme.
