In Marling Dale, Cheshire, on April 4th, a chauffeur is startled to find a skeleton inside the car when he opens the door for diplomat Byrom Blaine. The authorities are summoned, but they struggle to prevent the unsettling trend, as more diplomats, including Sir Curtis, soon face the same grim fate.
