Portugal’s National Health Commission halts all surfing activities in response to Covid regulations, leaving surfers trapped for weeks. Ramon Laureano, Tony’s father and tow partner, observes his son’s growth into a skilled big wave surfer. Meanwhile, Garrett McNamara decides to leave town, grappling with the frustration of being unable to ride the waves at Nazaré along with others in the community.
