S1E1 The Science of Joy

Mark Vicente and Sarah Edmondson, both prominent ex-leaders of NXIVM, share their vision and aspirations for creating a better world through the organization. Meanwhile, Bonnie Piesse, Mark's wife, expresses her concerns about NXIVM and its leader, Keith Raniere, who also happens to be Mark's mentor. This prompts Mark to question how the very tools designed for fostering a more ethical society could be exploited for harmful purposes.
