Following a series of mysterious explosions, Control tracks the source to an art gallery where charming ex-chemist Rex Savage collaborates with artist Mondo to create a collection of dangerous artwork. To infiltrate the scene, 99 poses as an art connoisseur while Max plays the role of her chauffeur and assistant. Their mission: to obtain Savage's fingerprints and a photograph. However, the operation proves to be more challenging than they had anticipated.
