The Legends pinpoint Commander Steel's location at NASA Headquarters in 1970, where they discover the hiding place of Nate's grandfather's final piece of the Spear of Destiny. While investigating, they detect a time anomaly linked to the Apollo 13 mission and suspect the Legion of Doom's interference. As the team heads into space to confront Apollo 13, the Waverider sustains severe internal damage, leaving Ray's life hanging by a thread after he becomes stranded on the moon. Simultaneously, tension escalates between Rip and Sara over leadership of the team.
