Krusty decides to retire after facing constant meddling from network executives and the rise of the lucrative game show "Me Wantee." However, when he confides in Sideshow Bob that all episodes featuring him have been deleted, Bob seizes the opportunity. He manipulates Krusty's biggest admirer, Bart, to carry out a deadly plot against him during Krusty's farewell broadcast.
