S6E24 Jethro Proposes

Granny is eager for Jed to propose to Miss Jane, but he declines. She then turns to Jethro, who intends to ask her but gets sidetracked when he encounters Ilsa. To set things right, Granny instructs him to invite Miss Jane to a fancy restaurant for dinner, where he can pop the question. Meanwhile, Granny and Elly occupy a nearby booth, ready to listen in and offer Jethro some guidance. When the moment arrives, Jethro asks Miss Jane, and to his delight, she says yes—only for him to dash away in excitement. Later, Miss Jane sadly informs him that she cannot accept his proposal.
