Title: Admiral Jed Clampett Plot: Mr. Drysdale encourages Jed to purchase a yacht and join the local Yacht Club. Inspired by Drysdale's captain's hat, Jethro sets off to find a similar outfit for Jed, returning with an entire Admiral's uniform! The Clampetts plan to meet Mr. Drysdale and Miss Jane at the dock but get sidetracked, ending up at a naval base instead. Mistaking a Navy ship for a yacht, Jed strides up the gangway in his uniform, prompting the sailors to believe he’s conducting an inspection. After a brief tour, Jed decides against buying the “boat.” Note: This episode marks the first aired in color.
