Nash tracks down James and Lorraine, an adventurous couple engaged in a chaotic crime spree across San Francisco. Upon learning that Lorraine is the daughter of a hotheaded SFPD Inspector, Nash becomes increasingly invested in her safety. His involvement with the young fugitive complicates his relationship with Cassidy, especially after her semi-nude photo becomes the talk of the town due to a provocative safer sex campaign.
