Albie is driven by a dark obsession to match the death toll from the Hillsborough football disaster, focusing on a freelance female journalist as his next victim. Meanwhile, DS Beck inadvertently crosses paths with Albie but makes a critical error, allowing him to fatally stab DCI Bilborough. The escalating crisis calls for criminal psychologist Fitz, who must step in to prevent further bloodshed and bring the situation under control before more lives are lost.
