Ned and Sasha find themselves in a high-pressure situation as they team up to investigate the discovery of a film critic's body in a sewer, which may be tied to the two-decade-old murder of concept artist David Straka. As they delve into Straka's past by interviewing his peers, groupies, and assistants, they uncover eerie links between the two deaths and become entangled in the dark realm of the occult. Meanwhile, Griffin's extensive knowledge of London's history, especially the secretive Fleet River, becomes a crucial asset in their investigation.
