As Marvin delves into the chilling case of a mysterious serial killer dubbed "the Boner" by the press for their gruesome use of animal bones on victims, his work is disrupted by a film crew aiming to create a true crime miniseries about the events. At the same time, Stan finds himself developing a bond with the actor portraying Marvin in the show, complicating their lives amidst the dark atmosphere surrounding the investigation.
